Hi all, I consider myself to have strong legs. I can do around 300lbs on the inclined leg press but I can't put more than 25lbs on each side for squats.
I am not sure if I am scared of the weight or if my back can't take it. I see newcomers doing 45 each side with ease.
I feel like I am wasting my time when I squat because my legs are ok afterwards.
Is there anything I can do to improve my situation?
Things I've tried include triple checking form and wearing a belt.
I'm thinking that maybe I should try and train my lower back more so it can take it.
