losing weight

hi i'm 16, i have always struggled with weight since i got perthes (leg problem) i started to be a lot less active and more sad so i ate more and gained weight that i have never really lost, however recently i have become more motivated to be healthier. i do about 15-30 mins of cycling on my supersize bike (roughly lose around 150-300 calories) and also do about 5-10 mins of push-ups and sit ups throughout the day. i have also cut back on carbs and junk food e.g. crisps

does anyone have another advice on losing weight effectively e.g. diet or excersizes to try, much appreciated.
