Hearing loss and increased strength during set?!

Hey everyone, first post to fitness and it's a weird one!

I was just doing some maintenance squats and started to struggle on one rep. As I came back up took a second and then started to squat again, my hearing went completely (no headphones on, the music in the gym just disappeared) and I just bust out 2 perfect and deep reps with no feelings in my body. It was like I left my body and was watching myself do them. Very shocking to say the least and it's never happened before.

Any idea what happened? I am now very curious and possibly a little concerned!
