Gym doesn't allow deadlifts?

Hi! I'm new to the gym: looking for programs, I was thinking to begin with 5/3/1 or something like that, but I see that all beginner programs that are suggested in the wiki include deadlifts, and the only gym in my town doesn't allow us to to them. Are there good alternatives to deadlifting?

I also see that that gym suggests to everyone a 3/4 days split (first day chest and arms, second day legs and shoulders and so on) with one main, followed by a couple of accessory exercise for the muscle involved. Like for example for legs first squat then curls and leg press. Is a program like that good for beginners? I see that everyone I know does like that, but it looks kinda far from the suggestion in the wiki. Thanks!
