Shoulder, bicep, elbow, wrist issues impacting activity

Hello everyone,

I am looking for some advice on getting back into the gym and developing a habit once again. I use to be in great shape. However, I have a few issues with the left side of my body.

I have developed shoulder, bicep, elbow, and wrist issues on my left side. I feel a dull pain in my shoulder (including the shoulder blade). The tightness in my shoulder never seems to go away. My bicep feels as tight as a rubberbanded ball. My elbow needs a cracking two-three times a day to relieve pressure (I feel the pressure build up as I type this). My wrist mimics my shoulder pain. When I go to bench press, for example, it feels weak and it is very painful to get a rep in. I even feel the tightness following a cardio workout.

I have seen a few doctors who have recommended muscle relaxers (took only for a few months) after finding nothing in x-rays and ct scans of my shoulder. I was also recommended to see a physical therapist, (went for a year straight) to no avail.

What can I do to limit these issues I am facing to get back into shape? It has impacted my health and the want to do any physical activity.
