buing workout equipment for home

Background Hi, Really sorry in advance if this is the wrong sub to post in. I need some advice before I buy anything (don't have a lot to spare anyway so I don't want to waste money) No one in my family goes to the gym or has gone to the gym EVER,,or heck even knows what exercise and fitness is, including me. So in 2019 August, I dislocated my right knee ( patellar dislocation). After several absolutely useless physio sessions on and off till starting from October to January, I didn't see much progress until I got another PT until k could afford him, and then I left after doing 4-5 sessions ANYWAYS, Im now at the 18th month mark post Injury. I have shin splints in my left leg that often come up when I try running. The only thing that I'm having trouble with is jumping and bending (knee hurts whenver I do either) as well as whenever I run (I'm compensating for my Injury and because I have forgotten how to run, I'm protecting my right leg)

Q1: I was wondering if buying a treadmill would help me out with the running? (I plan on starting a racket sport once my bending and running is back on track and if things open up where I am)

Q2: Also, unrelated: I wanted to get a pull up bar for the door and maybeee a punching bag ( both to release tension, agression, light exercise and for fun). Pull up bar is fairly cheap, and punching bag as well as treadmill I'll be buying used

I'm 20F, and in Canada if that matters. And oh I already have an upright exercise bike that I have been using since last June along with exercises the PT gave me, as well as super trashy dancing to music (I don't think that counts as exercise) here and there.
