Best thing to do while injured?

Been working out consistently for 2+ years now in the gym. Never really been a gym goer until I was 38 and have really enjoyed it (and made good improvements on my body). I was told yesterday that I can’t do any push or pull movements for 6-8 weeks with my upper body in order to repair some tendinitis in my elbow. This is a huge bummer, but I gotta just do it. Looking for some advice on best ways to stay the course. I don’t wanna go to the gym and do leg day everyday so considering putting my membership on hold and just running for a bit outside. Any tips, advice?
