This has been a year long battle and it changed many times. It started off at work, hand hurt when gripping or pushing my fingers on something, I've left the job to recover about 2 months ago, I don't have pain, my wrist crackles and I workout to compensate for not working (This isn't usual to this degree but it always felt funny to grip with it). For some reason I can't grip with my left hand, it feels like I'm being tickled or something and my hand just can't grip. I'm going to get it checked this week but I'd like an opinion by anyone who has had this problem. It happens when I squeeze my hand, it makes me feel funny. I can barely use a lighter with it unless it's a BIC lighter also. Could this be carpal tunnel? I heard that the surgery would make my hand about 10% weaker permanently, is this true? Thank you for reading.
