Starting from scratch, many resistance bands are too strong for me

Basically the title says it. I'm starting from absolute scratch and am limited in what I can do because of some health issues. I hate not being active though. It drives me insane. I have a few flimsy resistance bands that I double up and use, but even doubled up they're a little too easy and they leave my skin and clothing reeking of latex for hours afterward.

I went on amazon and bought these hip circles and these rogue bands, and I can't fucking budge even the weakest of them. (It's pathetic, I know.) On a couple occasions I would tell myself that I just needed to push myself and break them in, and trying to do so sent me into a massive hypoglycemia spiral in spite of the fact that I had eaten not too long before working out.

I'm feeling a little boxed in right now. I miss being active and I want to be strong, but if I can't even handle proper resistance bands I don't know what my options are. Does anyone know anything about this? Or can anyone recommend resistance bands that are a little more...beginner/intermediate without being horrible flimsy sheet latex?
