Whats your opinion on Front Squats + "high" Leg Press?

Hey,

I recently thought about switching up my leg workout. When I scavenged the Internet to get some new impressions I barely found anyone talking about Front Squads + Leg Press. The discussion mostly was about choosing either one of them or which one is better for quads.

Right now I'm doing back squats (sit back, so more hammies/glutes, rathern than sit down for quads) and afterwards I'm doing the leg press with my feet placed all the way down on the press to focus on my quads. And this is how it is handled in most routines you can find online. I feel like everyone online is thinking about the leg press as only a quad exercise.

I just wondered how would it be if I begin my workout with front squats (for quads) and then do the leg press but with my feet high up, to essentially simulate a sit back squat to emphasize my hammies/glutes.

If I'm not really into powerlifting and have good glutes/hammies but weak quads. Should I got for the second variation with front squats in the beginning? Or will my hammies/glutes start to "degrade" then since the "feet high up" leg press isnt as effective as the back squat?
