Hey guys, I recently got back to college, and have been having trouble with my benching form. One elbow seems to flare out, which I could normally deal with, but I have been benching for 5-6 months, and only noticed it now. Im not sure if this was just a minor form issue that I always had and never fixed, and its appeared now, or what. I've tried looking at other solutions like lowering the bar lower on my chest, really digging my back in/"breaking the bar cue" to get my lats engaged, making sure my grip is correct etc. but I can't seem to find a fix. It could also be a strength imbalance/ the benches at my uni suck, so Im currently getting a gripper surface to bench on and doing single arm rotator cuff movements. So unless there's something im missing will I just have to deload/lower the weight and really focus on bringing my elbow in? Thanks.
