I decided to just jump right into it and try to get on a path to achieve my goal weight and body. I am currently doing a low calorie diet with a lot of the calories being from protein. I run a few miles every day and alternate between leg and arm days.
After a week and a half of doing this I stepped on the scale. Didn’t expect anything much maybe just a pound or two off but I was really surprised to see that I gained 5 pounds. Is this normal and to be expected when starting a new diet and workout routine? I made sure to weigh myself right when I woke up both times I weighed myself.
