I've been training for 6months now and have watched a lot of DL form videos. After 6 months I have a feeling I still haven't figured out how to correctly do the DL.
I saw a couple of times that Rippetoe said not to drop the hips while performing the DL. I tried this and a lot of the load I had to endure with my hamstrings. I also saw the videos of Jeff Nippard and he does drop his hips, which brings more load on his quads.
My question is why is Rippetoe saying Not to drop them while others like Nippard does drop them? This been bugging me for a loooong time.
