Front squat, weight over the heel

I seem to have more of my balance centered on my heel of my foot and I find it difficult to “form the tripod” as they say, with the inner and outer parts of where the front of my feet make contact with the ground (ball and outer ball?)

I am also lifting wearing shoes but I don’t feel it changes enough to be totally balanced when I take them off.

Anyone had dramas like this? How did you make your foot more centered? Should I elevate the toes or will that be bad for my knees?
