I’m 25, female, 5’5, 275lbs, smoker trying to quit, and I’m desperate to get fit, but I really don’t know what I’m doing and I don’t know what’s too little or too much. When I do cardio, I can only fast walk maybe a block before I feel like I’m going to have a heart attack, and my muscles are so weak just a couple reps of anything (crunches, knee-pushups, etc) and my muscles are exhausted. When I just do what I can to my limit, I feel like I haven’t done enough because it takes so little for me to reach my limit, but if I do something that I can sustain for a longer time, I feel like I’m not working hard enough, if that makes sense. How do I know I’m in that middle ground? Should I feel this weak and exhausted when I first start? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you
