I'm tired of the bullying. I'm tired of the horrible, almost depressing self confidence. I want everything to change. I want to be the strong girl.
I am small, skinny, probably underweight, and I am physically weak. I have extremely low body fat. Less that 1 percent.
I set up a routine for myself. Strict - but I am motivated.
I'm using 5lb dumbells. Yes. You heard it. 5lbs.
The routine:
Total: Various stretching exercises 10 minutes 50 pushups total 50 situps total 50 Squats 50 Bicep Reps 50 Tricep Reps 10 minute plank hold
Stretching 2 minutes •10 pushups best form that you can do •10 situps best form that you can do •10 Bicep (Left and Right 10) •10 Tricep (Left and Right 10) •10 Squats •2 minute Plank Repeat x5
Now the bicep and tricep I really had no clue. For the biceps I do the excersize where you put your elbow on your knee and you do slow and controlled reps up and down. For the triceps, I put my arm behind my back and tried lifting one arm at a time above my head using the muscles behind my arms.
For this routine I plan to wake up at 6 am. Not 8. Not 9. 6 am to do my workout.
Today I thought I would get a headstart and this is how far I got:
I did the full 2 minutes if stretching x5 in one sitting so I did 10 minutes of stretching beforehand. It was very painful and I couldn't even go down all the way to my knee when I w as s doing both legs outstretched at once. I was able to complete 2 reps of 10 pushups (with horrible form and I could barely get low) I was able to complete 2 reps of situps with good form and there was only minor burning. I could do 2 reps of 10 bicep workouts. I could only do 2 tricep exercises on my right hand, and I was physically unable to lift a 5lb dumbbell using the tricep of my left arm. I was straining and it was scary that couldn't lift it. I could do all of the squats easy peasy. I could only do 20 seconds of a low plank hold at a time before I had to take a break.
What is a reasonable time period to suggest that I can do 10 minutes of stretching easy, 100 pushups, 100 situps, do 25lbs on my bicep, 10-15 lbs on my triceps, 200 squats, and a 5 minute plank?
Tell me if these don't add up but I'm willing to work for this, even if it takes me a year to 2 years. I want to be proud of flexing my muscles. Not hide them in a jacket when its 70 degrees outside.
I have no idea what I'm doing and while I have the time in quarantine to work out I thought I would. You beautiful swole people please help me achieve my dreams.
