Hey guys, I'm focussing on a lot of plyometric style training recently to improve my performance in various sports that I play in. I do like the idea of box jumps, the problem is that the gym I go to has no box. Could I still reap the same benefits from mimicking a box jump? Just without landing on the box and landing back on the floor instead. I have incorporated other types of plyos such as lateral jumps, skipping etc. But I'm specifically interested in the mechanics of the box jump.
