Are there any exercises that I can do which will help me sit cross legged on the floor for longer? Right now, if I sit for more than 20 minutes, my hips start hurting and if I sit longer my lower back starts hurting. It goes away after a while, but I'm wondering if this is a warning sign? I don't know if it helps, but I'm 37 years old and have been working out regularly over the past year. I'm around 8 kg (18 lbs) overweight.
I tried searching online and couldn't find anything useful (some sites selling snake oil though).
