A couple weeks ago I repped out 205 on bench for a max of 12 reps. I then took a break and traveled away for Christmas break where I didn't eat nearly as much food, and only did a couple light workouts. I got back and went to the gym today, and could only do 185 for 8 reps. I also went from 184 to 177 lbs in the 2 weeks and actually look less defined like I lost muscle and gained fat somehow. Everywhere I see online says that it takes 3-4 weeks of no training to notice a decrease in strength. My sleep and nutrition were relatively poor compared to normal but I didn't expect this dramatic of a result in such a short time.
