Does anyone have experience with using compression sleeves, specifically knees and elbows? Sometimes my elbows can get a little bit pained on days when I do lots of bicep and tricep moves. And sometimes my knees can hurt on days where I do stuff like deadlifts and squats.
So I thought that maybe I would try some sleeves to help with the pain and to just overall preserve my joints for the future. But the opposite happened. Wearing these only caused more pain, pain I didn't even have before. On bicep day the insides of both of my elbows were in incredible pain on the first day I tried wearing elbow sleeves; a pain I had never felt before. And on deadlift day I felt pain almost instantly in my knees without even lifting that much weight.
Did I get the wrong size or something? Are they not meant for doing many, repetitive motions over and over? Or are sleeves just not for me? Any help is greatly appreciated.
