My after workout experience is weird

After I workout I am super tired for about an hour and a half then I get this HUGE burst of energy for 5 hours preventing me from sleeping. This workout is hard. I don’t take any energizing substances. I only drink whey protein powder

What is this and how do I get rid of it? I workout at night because it’s convenient with my schedule btw.
