My situation: I am musclar-athletic and train calisthenics 3 times a week (i have seen great results over the past couple years). Ive recently taken an interest in martial arts (boxing and BJJ) and i want to train them and possbily compete. However, i dont want to lose the muscle mass i have worked hard for over the past couple years. Also i will be at university , so time will be limited (assuming i have 4 days per week available)
My questions: Will i lose muscle mass from the lack of strength training ill be doing? If so, would 1 full body strength workout per week benefit me much? How would you approach this situation?
