I'm currently training to pass the physical assessment test for the police department and in order for me to pass i have to row 1.2miles in 9 minutes and 40 seconds on the rowing machine. I first started rowing several months ago and im still extremely struggle with this machine. I can only last 5 minutes and only get to 500 meters before my legs start to give out and i try to push myself further but it feels like my legs can't do it. I don't know if my form is wrong or if there is other ways i can help to strengthen my legs and stamina. Any advice on how to best utilize the rowing maching or even leg and cardio exercises would be greatly appreciated cause even though i have lost alot of weight and gained a bit of muscle it seems like im really struggling in these areas with my body.
