I have always read that ab work isn’t necessary because the core lifts such as squat will work it fine. But my core is very weak still. I can’t even do one rep on a ab wheel. I’m not out of shape or anything and I’d say I’m decently strong 17y/o, 190 lbs, 240bench, 440 squat, 520 dead. I’m just surprised how weak my core is still. I’ve been trying the 6 pack promise app but I can’t do some of the exercises very well. Should I keep pushing through on the app? Or does anyone have any high volume ab routines I should use. I’m bulking until the end of March and I want to put on some muscle in my abs for summer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
