Outward pointing foot preventing me from squatting, how can I fix this?

I'll try to describe my issue in as much detail as I can.

My right foot points outwards, however if I try to point it forwards and lunge with the same leg I notice that my femur tries the push my hip outwards. So basically when I squat there is a lot of pressure being put on my right hip and it has got to the point where my right hip clicks whenever I walk and it feels like there is a build up of pressure in the hip capsule as I squat, which is quite painful.

I believe there is some sort of muscle imbalance going on which is causing my femur / foot to rotate outwards and I have tried so many stretches and have googled the issue but can't find a fix. Another thing worth mentioning is that I struggle to activate my right hamstring when doing any sort of hamstring curl.

Does anyone know what could be the issue?
